Can festive eating be fun AND sensible?

“I can resist anything except temptation.” Oscar Wilde. Getting into the spirit of the season doesn’t have to mean getting totally carried away. Plan out your eating over the next few weeks and try to stick to your resolve. For instance, the parties and the main highlights of Christmas could be punctuated with days of clean eating. Serrapeptase is a very potent proteolytic (protein-dissolving) enzyme that speeds up the process of breaking down specific proteins. These bacteria are critical to a silkworm’s survival, as they break down its protein-rich silk cocoon when it is time for the moth to be released. No silkworms are harmed or even utilized to make serrapeptase for dietary use, as the enzyme is created from a fermentation process of the Serratia Marcescens bacteria.
